Whenever someone has experience trauma, whether it’s from a particular event, accident, series of traumatic events or being in a traumatic and stressful environment, our brains may still perceive messages of being in danger. In a situation when we feel that we are in danger, the regions of our brain that are responsible for our survival are activated.

When a state of helplessness and lack of control accompanies negative life experiences, our brains are unable to rid themselves of the messages of threat. All of the experiences that accompanied these traumaticevents are mainly stored in our unconscious survival memory centers. Our bodies may re-experience these memories in the form of body sensations, muscle bracing, images, smells, stomach and heartsensations, etc.

The conscious memories of traumatic emotional events are linked to emotions and sensations of the body, and show up as symptoms of fear, rage or anxiety. A person who has had a traumatic event may still have memories and body sensations when exposure to cues which are a reminder of the traumatic event, as is seen in PTSD.

Even after a trauma has been experienced, sights, smells, similar events and situations may be perceived as being a present threat, even though our logical brain realizes that the experience is actually over. The right- sided emotional brain processes and stores these memories.

I teach an energetic trauma release class as well as using this technique with people who have chronic stress, anxiety, illness, accidents, trauma, abuse or PTSD.  It helps to release these stored emotions with ease, without having to talk about the situation or relive it.  The body just lets go of whatever it does not need to hang on to.

Thank you for sharing this. Do you use a technique like Fred Gallo's: Energy Tapping? Is this like EMDR? Can you tell us a little more about what you do to give people release?

PTSD is a really interesting subject. I was diagnosed with that from all the years of trauma and abuse I experienced. It has taken me all my life to get over most of it, and even then I still struggle with some things.

I've seen that when I work with clients and we clear out the chakras and release the traumatic energy people are holding onto, that their reactions to things seem to change as well. Other practices that remove this energy are very fascinating to me.

How do you connect to the person's trauma? Do you see it clairvoyantly or do you just clear it based off of what they tell you? Do you implant suggestions like hypnosis?

ERIN I SEE NONE OF THE PRACTIONERS HAVE ANSWERED YOUR FINAL QUESTIONS ON THIS POST.  I WONDER WHY?

MY OPINION IS A TRUE HEALER WOULD SEE IT CLAIRVOYANTLY, NOT BY WHAT SOMEONE TELLS THEM OF THEIR EXPERIENCES, NOR HYPNOSIS, NOR SUGGESTIONS. I BELIEVE A TRUE HEALER KNOWS, WITHOUT BEING TOLD.

Hello Heart! I'm thinking that in energyworker's case, she is simply busy. She is a great lady who administers a website to promote other healers, like me. The demands on her time are pretty great.

It is very hard to answer your question. I'm not sure if I can. I have to say that all the best healers I've seen, did work with me clairvoyantly. I spent thousands of dollars on chiropractors, acupuncture, herbal remedies, reiki,  etc, and nothing ever really worked for me. Working with people to remove the actual cause, is the only thing that really worked for me.

I've had numerous people who spent countless hundreds doing reiki and other forms of long-distance healing where the practioner is supposed to put in energy, but it just doesn't work. It might give a temporary relief of symptoms, but healing is really about moving into different energy and choosing a new way of life. We created our lives by our thoughts and beliefs, it is up to us to release them. A clairvoyant can help you understand the cause and connect to the energy creating the problem so you can change it. It's the only way I know of to produce real change in our lives.

I've been working with an EMDR specialist for trauma release and I'm finding it very interesting. I feel like it really does help. I know I still have things in my chakras and energy, but I can tell that my brain is reacting differently to the things it has stored before.

Has anyone experienced EMDR or another form of trauma release?
